Yama DK Luxe - 10 skein bundle

This bundle includes 10 x 100gram skeins of Yama DK Luxe in colourways Silver Wolf, Taupe, Milo and Maple. Create a sweater, hats, mitts or shawls with colourwork or stripe details. A great addition to your Yama stash.

Yama DK Luxe knits up into a cosy fabric that softens as you handle it. While the 60% Merino content is superwash, the Alpaca and Kid Mohair fibres are feltable making this a a great yarn for colourwork projects and has beautiful stitch definition. The fabric becomes ever softer with handling and wear. Some pilling can be expected.

Dye batches do vary, please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project and remember to alternate skeins when knitting larger pieces. Variegated skeins take more effort to produce and are charged for a little extra. The skeins you receive may not be the identical skeins form the photograph.

Care Instructions: I recommend hand washing garments in cold water. Do not agitate when washing, this yarn can felt. Soak in a wool wash and rinse in clean water with a drop of essential oil. Roll in a towel to get the water out and dry flat.

Note that very dark saturated colourways can give off some residual dye on the hands while knitting, this is called “crocking”, read about it on the “Care Instructions” page under Info in the main menu.
