A great addition to stash for colourwork and striped projects
How I knit my Forestland Sweater yoke:
Start the colourwork chart, always holding 2 strands of singles for CC:
Urus & Skål for 6 rows
Skål & Dark Maple for 5 rows
Dark Maple & Maple for 5 rows
Maple & Golden Maple for 2 rows
Golden Maple & Honey Mustard 4 rows
Then in reverse to end of chart
For main colour I used Faded Khaki on Yama Merino Linen Worsted. Forestland is a pattern by Jenn Steingass, available via Ravelry.com.
Yama Merino Linen Singles is a soft single ply, fingering weight yarn with rustic appeal. Popular for hats, shawls and sweaters.
Weight : Fingering
Composition : 90% Superwash Merino 10% Linen
Texture : 1 ply
Skein Weight : 100gram
Meterage/Yardage : 360m/394y
Garments can be machine washed on a gentle cycle however I recommend hand washing in cool water. Soak in a wool wash and rinse in clean water with a drop of essential oil. Roll in a towel to get the water out and dry flat.
The skeins you receive may not be the identical skeins form the photograph.
