Yama Merino Linen Singles & KidSilk Bundles *SOLD OUT*

Each bundle contains 2 x 100gram skeins of Yama Merino Linen Singles and 2 x 50gram skeins of Yama KidSilk, in shades that work together from the September 2023 collection. These can be used in colourwork, stripes, fades or in combination with colourways that you may already have..a fun way to add to your Yama stash!

Yama Merino Linen Singles is a soft single ply, fingering weight yarn with rustic appeal. The composition is 90% Merino and 10% Linen.

Yama KidSilk is a luxurious South African lace weight yarn consisting of 72% Brushed Kid Mohair 28% Mulberry Silk. Next to skin soft with gorgeous lustre and halo.

Held together, these two yarns work into a soft, romantic fabric perfect for sweaters, shawls and hats.

Dye batches vary, please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project. There are also variation within batches, please remember to alternate skeins when working on larger pieces of fabric. Variegated skeins take more effort to produce and are charged for a little extra. The skeins you receive may not be the identical skeins form the photograph.

Care Instructions: Garments can be machine washed on a gentle cycle however I recommend hand washing in cool water. Soak in a wool wash and rinse in clean water with a drop of essential oil. Roll in a towel to get the water out and dry flat.

Note that darker, saturated colourways can give off some residual dye on the hands while knitting, this is called “crocking”, read more about it on the “Care Instructions” page under Info in the main menu.
