Yama Merino Linen Worsted is the even cosier version of Yama Merino Linen Singles. The soft ply and linen fibres give this yarn a rustic, almost handspun character. Next to skin soft and suitable for projects such as sweaters, shawls and hats. Great stitch definition for stranded colourwork projects. TIP! For painting with yarn effects in colourwork sweaters ~ hold Yama Merino Linen Singles (or any other Yama sock weight yarn) double to create a marled or fading effect, with one strand of Worsted as the main colour .
The colourways are unique for each collection and will not repeat quite the same ~ please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project. I recommend to alternate skeins when working on larger pieces of fabric. Variegated and dark colourwasys take more effort to create and are charged for a little extra. The yarn you receive may not be the identical skeins form the photograph, each skein is unique.

Care Instructions:
Garments can be machine washed on a gentle cycle however I recommend hand washing in cool water. Soak in a wool wash and rinse in clean water with a drop of essential oil. Roll in a towel to get the water out and dry flat. Also see “Care Instructions” under Info in the main menu.
Note that darker colourways can give off some residual dye on the hands while knitting, even though the wash and rinse water ran clear. This is called “crocking”, read about it on the “Care Instructions” page under Info in the main menu.
