Yama Merino Lace Singles (variegated colourways)

Yama Merino Lace Singles is a super soft, single strand yarn. Great for lightweight shawls OR hold it double to create a fingering weight yarn. Have fun with colour marling and colourwork in combination with any of the other Yama fingering weight yarns.

Dye batches vary and some colourways are not repeated, please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project and remember to alternate skeins when working on larger pieces of fabric. Variegated skeins take more effort to produce and are charged for a little extra. Note that the skeins you receive may not be the identical skeins shown in the photograph.

Weight : Lace
Composition : 100% Superwash Merino
South African Merino wool is mulesing free
Texture : 1 ply
Skein Weight : 100 - 110gram
Meterage/Yardage : 700m/766y per 100gram

Care Instructions: Garments can be machine washed on a gentle cycle however I recommend hand washing in cool water. Soak in a wool wash and rinse in clean water with a drop of essential oil. Roll in a towel to get the water out and dry flat.

Note that the darker saturated colourways can give off some residual dye on the hands while knitting, this is called “crocking”, read about it on the “Care Instructions” page under Info in the main menu.

See the Colour Combos tab below for colour combination ideas and to help cross reference the colourways.

IMPORTANT: Prices do not include VAT. Under the new EU VAT rule for e-commerce, customers in EU countries can expect to pay VAT on arrival of their parcels.
