Yama Merino Singles is a soft single ply, fingering weight yarn. Use in combination with Merino Linen Singles to add a hint of texture. Popular for hats, shawls and sweaters.

Dye batches do vary, please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project and remember to alternate skeins when knitting larger pieces. Variegated skeins take more effort to produce and are charged for a little extra. The skeins you receive may not be the identical skeins form the photograph.

Care Instructions: Garments can be machine washed on a gentle cycle however I recommend hand washing in cool water. Soak in a wool wash and rinse in clean water with a drop of essential oil. Roll in a towel to get the water out and dry flat.

Note that dark saturated colourways can give off some residual dye on the hands while knitting, this is called “crocking”, read about it on the “Care Instructions” page under Info in the main menu.
