Yama 75/25 Sock *SOLD OUT*

Yama 75/25 Sock knits up into a soft yet durable fabric with minimal pilling and beautifully defined stitches. Intended for socks but very suitable for hats, shawls and sweaters alike. I like to combine it with Yama Merino Linen Singles and Soft Sock for colourwork!

Dye batches vary and some colourways are not repeated, please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project and remember to alternate skeins when working on larger pieces of fabric. Variegated skeins take more effort to produce and are charged for a little extra. Note that the skeins you receive may not be the identical skeins shown in the photograph.

Yama DK Luxe *SOLD OUT*

Yama DK Luxe knits up into a cosy fabric that softens as you handle it. While the 60% Merino content is superwash, the Alpaca and Kid Mohair fibres are feltable making this a a great yarn for colourwork projects and has beautiful stitch definition. The fabric becomes ever softer with handling and wear. Some pilling can be expected.

Yama Merino Mohair Cobweb is a fine lace weight yarn with beautiful lustre and a soft halo. Soft on the skin and perfect to hold together with a strand of Yama Merino Linen Singles to create a sport to DK weight yarn with beautiful marled effect. The combination also adds strength and help prevent pilling.

Merino Linen Worsted Variegated *SOLD OUT*

Yama Merino Linen Worsted is the even cosier version of Yama Merino Linen Singles. The soft ply and linen fibres give this yarn a rustic, almost handspun character. Next to skin soft and suitable for projects such as sweaters, shawls and hats. Great stitch definition for stranded colourwork projects. TIP! For painting with yarn effects in colourwork sweaters ~ hold Yama Merino Linen Singles (or any other Yama sock weight yarn) double to create a marled or fading effect, with one strand of Worsted as the main colour .

Yama Merino Chunky 150gram Cakes *SOLD OUT*

Yama Merino Chunky is super squishy and plump, this batch was dyed in layers of Autumn colours..with that perfect hat in mind. Approx. gauge is 14sts x 20rows = 10x10cm on 5.5mm knitting needles. I knitted a super cosy Cocoon Hat (free pattern by La Maison Rililie) in size S using 122grams (see my Ravelry project page).

This is a limited edition batch. The yarn base is produced from fully traceable organically grown fleeces, the finest produced from the Falkland Islands, South Atlantic. Spun in the UK.

Yama Falkland Merino & Mulberry Silk is a a luxurious, silky soft, plump non-superwash yarn. Warm yet light, I recommend knitting a cosy shawl, scarf or hat.

Care Instructions: Remember that untreated wool felts when suddenly exposed to high temperatures and/or agitated. Soak the garment in cool water with a drop or two of gentle soap.
